Febuary 18,2008 8:00PM Discussion. Well,this is to announce that the winter weather page is shutting down for the year.Looking at the GFS plus climatology,I simply don't see any way any locations other than the upper Midwest and far northern New England get anything in the way of significant (6+ inches) of snowfall the rest of this season.I was planning on doing this on March 1st anyway,but it seems like it can be done now.
